The roots of my musical journey can be traced back to my time with the Northern Lebanon High School band! Yes I was a band geek & proud of it!! I was extremely fortunate to attend a school featuring a very good music program. One of the highlights of my time there was the year NLHS was selected to march in the 1985 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Fast forward a few decades….Yesterday Stamford held there annual UBS Holiday Parade, which (I recently learned) is used as “dress rehearsal” for the big Macy’s show on Thursday! As luck would have it the parade route was only a short walk from my apartment. I took this opportunity to take my camera and go on a stroll down memory lane. There’s nothing like merging the memories of the past into the realities of the present! Below are a few of the pictures from the event!
