About The Song
Unlike many of my previous songs, this one was not inspired by a specific incident, but rather by a series of events that transpired over the course of a year.
Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow, was written in the spring of 2021. I wanted to write a positive response to all the turmoil each of us experienced during 2020.
Perhaps the meaning can be summarized in the following lyric from the song:
Don’t give in to all the madness
Spring is coming, the winter’s ended
All things come to an end…to quote the musical ANNIE, “The Sun’ll Come Out Tomorrow!”
Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow, is about finding your “happy place”, especially during times of struggle and emerging stronger on the other side.
